Emergency Appointments

All emergency appointments will be dealt with by our qualified Nurse Practitioners who are able to diagnose and prescribe and have access to a GP at all times. Please help us to help you by booking appointments appropriately.

How to make an Appointment

pen_on_diaryPlease call our appointments line on 0844 477 3858 to book a routine appointment with the practice nurse or GP of your choice.

We use a lo-cost telephone number for our appointments line which will cost you approximately 4 pence a minute, depending on your telephone provider.

Some of our practice nurses are able to treat and prescribe for minor illnesses, so you may not need to book an appointment with a GP.

You may not need an appointment for a prescription or sick note. Our reception staff can help you if you are uncertain about this or if you are uncertain about what clinic, nurse or doctor you should see.

You may be able to book an appointment up to 4 weeks in advance for the nurse or GP of your choice. All urgent same day appointments will be dealt with by our nurse practitioners who are able to diagnose and prescribe and have access to a GP at all times.

GP appointments are also available for medicals such as HGV, elderly driver fitness to drive and fostering. Please contact the surgery for more information as these services may involve a charge both for the medical and for failure to cancel the booked appointment. Please call the appointments line and we will be able to advise you.
